  Experience Mt. McKinley and Denali National Park by air via Rust's Flying Service. Rust's, our float plane service provider, offers these 2 1/2 hour flightseeing adventures from Wilderness Place Lodge north into the Alaska mountain range and Denali National Park. The flight takes you around the McKinley climber's base camp, the Ruth Ampitheare, 'Little Switzerland,' and over the many glacial fields, ephemeral lakes and rugged countryside of this one-of-a-kind landscape. This is truly an experience you will only encounter in Alaska and it is a favorite supplement to your fishing trip with us. Flightseeing trips to Denali can be organized for mid-day departures which assures you have morning and early-afternoon fishing and also opportunity to fish again after dinner. Flights usually depart the lodge at 3pm and return at 5:30pm.

  For those on a tight schedule, but wish to experience a great fly-in fishing trip from Anchorage, we offer an all-inclusive day fishing package. Your float plane flight departs Anchorage, Alaska at 7:30am arriving at 8:15am. Spend the entire day fishing with your personal guide(s) on our scenic river for salmon and trout.
