½ pound Alaska Red king crab meat, Chopped (other crab can be substituted)
2 fresh garlic cloves, minced
1 small shallot
2 leaves fresh basil, chopped
1 sprig of fresh thyme leaves
½ of a Red bell pepper, Brunois cut (very fine dice)
1 large egg
¼ cup panko bread crumbs plus extra for coating the cakes before pan frying
Good quality oil for frying (not olive oil)
1 teaspoon each, Salt and pepper
