Lake Creek fishing regulations

ALASKA FISHING REGULATIONS: Information courtesy of ADF&G

Lake Creek, our home river lies within the Susitna River Drainage of Southcentral Alaska. Lake Creek runs 60 river miles north to south from its source at Chelatna Lake near the southern border of Denali National Park. Lake Creek empties into the glacial Yentna River, which then flows to the Susitna, then into Northern Cook Inlet. A variety of rules and regulations apply to our river an it is imperative that all guests of Wilderness Place Lodge are informed of these. At our lodge we adhere to the regulations and do our best to maintain our excellent Alaska fishery. King salmon, Silver Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Pink Salmon and Chum Salmon are all prevelant in Lake Creek. The river also holds one of the finest rainbow trout populations in all of southcentral Alaska. We encourage our guests to retain only enough fish to meet their personal needs.

Please follow the link below to view Adobe Acrobat PDF files of the Alaska Department of Fish & Game's Susitna River Drainage Fishing Regulations. Lake Creek is located in Unit 4. We appreciate your diligence in following the rules of the river an for your help in supporting our precious fisheries resource!
