Booking for 2018! Available June 24 - August 5 Our Pioneer cabin is accessible only by float plane, situated on a small scenic lake with mountain views! Enjoy the call of the loons in the evening, relax and unwind in this special place. The cabin is an authentic 1950s homesteader's cabin we have refurbished to provide simple, comfortable accommodations for 2 guests. This experience is available for 1-3 nights and is fully guided and catered. This adventure includes lake kayaking, hiking, photography and wildlife. The coolest part is you're a short 1/4 mile hike to the river offering excellent wade fishing for salmon, trout and grayling. Your host guide will reside on the property on a separate cabin to attend to your every need. On your final day enjoy a guided 4 mile river float with fishing prior to your departure. This unique experience is offered to a limited number of 2 guests per trip and we offer just a dozen trips each summer, so first come, first serve! More details and photos Here! Booking for 2018! Available June 15 - August 5 Solitude island retreat is a one-of-a-kind remote fly-in lake cabin on a private 4-acre island There just isn't anything like it! Silence. Peace. Wilderness. Real Alaska... on 'island time.' Our personal, private brand-new cabin has electricity and climate control heat with a twin and queen bed with comfy memory foam mattresses in the upstairs loft. The cabin is located just a stone-throw from the lake shore and our large floating dock. Easy access for all! This is a peaceful do-it-yourself wilderness retreat ideally for couples with space available for a child upon request. This is an extremely unique experience and a comfortable way to see real remote Alaska. Activities include lake kayaking, great photography and wildlife viewing, northern pike fishing in the lake and therapeutic solitude with epic views from the cabin's covered porch.
