July offers a large diversity of fishing opportunities from peak king salmon fishing in early July to peak sockeye and pink salmon during the middle of the month as silver and chum salmon fishing fires up from July 20th onward. July features much greenery and wild flowers and is a popular month to pursue many off-the-grid adventures.
August offers the best fishing of the summer for silver and chum salmon + native rainbow trout. Large densities of these fish species in lower Lake Creek offer a high success rate to pros and amateurs alike. This is a great month for fly fishermen of all abilities.
